What is Qigong?

Qigong is an essential part of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) therapy - the connection between Qigong and TCM can also be found in the Book of Inner Medicine of the Yellow Emperor (Huang Di Nei Jing) which is three thousand years old. This book presents the theoretical basics of TCM, the diagnosis method and the acupuncture method.
Qigong has been studied at Chinese universities for a long time and serves as a preventive and therapeutic practice successfully applied in hospitals. It is effectively used to improve various conditions such as:
• Hypertension
• Various types of pain
• Diabetes
• Allergy
• Asthma
• Arthritis
• Addiction diseases
• Anxiety and stress

The Qigong exercise system is the result of thousands of years of researching the human body through preventive health practices expressed through physical exercises, meditative techniques, and the use of the theory of 5 elements and the system of meridians and energy flow in the body.

In addition to strengthening the body, exercises preventively affect the occurrence of the most prevalent diseases by promoting immunity, directly influencing the energy flow of the body, the secretion of hormones, and the improvement of blood circulation and breathing.
